We demonstrated how to use LifeVacs to save lives in a choking emergency to the Sussex County Sheriff's Department. We worked with them to provide enough devices for each response vehicle and med kit used by their team throughout the county.
We are grateful for the opportunity to provide lifesaving tools to first responders in memory of Maverick.
Thank you to Sheriff for allowing us to teach his officers and better prepare them for a choking emergency when protocols do not work to clear an airway. It is important to give our first responders every tool possible to aid in an emergency!
We donated 32 LifeVacs to the Stroudsburg School District covering all 7 schools and their extra curricular buildings ( such as the stadium, admin, transportation offices).

Benny's Bodega was kind enough to let us help stock the shelves and we look forward to making this drive an annual tradition for Maverick's Birthday.
We couldn't do this without the support of our followers and community, together we can change the world.
Happy birthday, Maverick!

Currently, it will be kept in the Concession Stand, but there is a plan to place a box below the AED box on the exterior wall of the pavilion to ensure easy access, even when the concession stand is closed.
This ensures there are enough devices to equip each patrol vehicle, as well as a replacement device in case one is used. We are happy to have provided another community with a secondary rescue option in instances where current choking protocols fail to clear an airway blockage.
The residents at care facilities, such as Bentley, are at a higher risk for choking injuries or death. Sometimes current choking protocols aren't possible to use because of physical limitations. In these circumstances, an airway clearance device could be the only option to save someone in a choking emergency.
We hope that our efforts to educate our surrounding communities on choking prevention and by providing these devices to First Responders and Schools, we will grow our son's legacy and allow Maverick to leave his mark upon this world.
Together we can save a life!

We talked about LifeVac and how they are a great tool to have on hand in case choking emergency protocols, such as the Heimlich Maneuver, are not working to remove an obstruction. We donated enough for 4 in each of the 3 schools in the district. We hope they are never needed, but feel better that they are available just in case. These kids are just a little bit safer now.
